About AIM
The goal of AIM is to train for more effectiveness in ministry. The mission is to advance Kingdom work through training, discipleship, evangelism, fellowship, worship and service. COGIC Founder, Bishop Charles H. Mason, organized departments to support the work of the church. As the church began to grow, new auxiliaries, ministries, and departments were formed to provide a holistic methodology to ministry to members and the communities in which they live.

VISION

To seek and save the lost in the metro El Paso area, by spreading the Gospel to win souls for Christ.

MISSION

To use the gifts of all evangelists in the jurisdiction in order to bring salvation to the unchurched community, to establish a clear presence of witnessing Jesus Christ to all who will hear the good news, to equip the saints for spiritual growth, to edify the body of Christ, to have unity within the faith, to engage in learning the knowledge of the Son of God.

PURPOSE

Romans 3:23
For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.

Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 8:24
For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?

Romans 10:9
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Romans 10:13
For whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Romans 12:1
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, Holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

Romans 12:2
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Vision
To empower our youth and young adults to live a Godly life and set a Godly example for all to see and follow.

Mission
We are a group of young believers who will not allow age or any other barriers to stop us from being all that God has called us to be. This is our time to lead from the front in an effort to win others to Christ.

We Believe
1 Timothy 4:12 -“Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”

Joel 2:28-“And it shall come to past afterward that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh, your sons and daughters will prophesy, your men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions.”

MUSIC DEPARTMENT
Pastor Brian Rosette
Interim President

MISSION STATEMENT:
Support our Jurisdictional Bishop through exhortation, music and song, supporting all Jurisdictional functions. Our mission is to assist in the moving of the Holy Spirit through creating an atmosphere conducive to worship. Lead others into His presence by ministering the Word of God through music rendering thanksgiving, praise and worship with a focus on Jesus Christ and His Kingdom. Facilitate local churches coming together as one body unified in spirit and with a heart of service and a purpose to glorify God, in a spirit of excellence.

Colossians 3:16 (KJV,) Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

VISION STATEMENT:

  • To break up the fallow ground in a worship service setting, and prepare the atmosphere for when the preached Word of God goes forth; souls are saved, set free, and delivered.
  • Empower local church ministers of music and/or choir presidents to utilize their gifts and talents within the jurisdiction. Allow them to operate in or construct a corporate worship service conducive to the spirit of excellence and usher in the Spirit of the Lord’s presence through praise and worship, glorifying God.
  • Promote spiritual growth among our music department. Engage as many new people as possible in the music department whether by music, instrument or song.
